What a nice worship ballad from Afy Douglas. In this piece Afy, welcomes more of the Holy Spirit with a sweet resounding call. This song is easy to sing and flow with because its beautiful and calm.

NO 9 : Mr Noble – The Word is working

Noble doesnt dull in this pumping beat, plus its a winner for the party banger and dance. This song is as much contemporary pop as it is African dance rhythm. The songs draws you into its powerful chorus loop so that you dance without stopping. Personally, i keep this song on repeat all day.

This song “Sound Code” just takes you like a journey into its rhythm cos its like these guys are giving out a message. The beat is banging and contemporary. You just have to listen to it.

When i first heard Wagbalicious, I couldn’t stop playing it. i think this is one of my favorite newcomer songs for the month of August. It is so fresh and current as to what the Nigerian and African music is gearing at in regards to music style. S.T.O did a great one with this piece. keep it up guys.

NO 6: Smek – Chukwu Nemenma

When it comes to fan response, Smek got quite more of it on August. “Chukwu Nemenma” is a pop song, quite between Hip-hop and popular music. I like it cos its stable rhythm and mix keeps the music interesting to listen and the message is clear inside the music. Lovely effort from Smek.

NO 5: Peejay Paul – God of Miracle

Peejay premiered on XclusiveGospel and this song made a grand debut. The song “God of Miracle” is totally blended with various genres. The sound moves from local Nigerian praise of “God of miracle, na my papa” and mixes into Pop Rock and more, quite an inspiring twist. You will love this twist and mix. Listen and Enjoy!

NO 4: XL2Letters – So so Good ft sokleva & Jaydee

Haha. Always wanna talk about XL2Letters cos i think he brings back the street commercial pop culture rap that seems to be neglected these days. I love the sound of “So So Good” and i couldn’t stop playing this song over and over. Just wanted to stay in the feel of this music. Love this one XL2Letters.

NO 3: Onos – Alagbara

Onos is nothing short of inspiring with this piece. “Alagbara” brings the worship to you in worship *smiles*. I admire the passion she puts into this song that changes the atmosphere in your room. This song is a worship classic that would always remain fresh. I definitely am glad its on the top10 songs.

NO 2: Samfonii – Good father ft. Solomon lange

I haven’t heard Samfonii before, but I definitely feel this dope song. Its beat is on track with latest trends in the Nigerian and African industry while keeping the message in this song relevant and audible. I love this song anytime and still playing it as at posting this list. lol. enjoy.

NO 1 : Florocka – Idinma

Flo or Florocka is gifted with creating heart-catching gospel classics that is loved by both praise worship fans and contemporary music lovers. Flo maintains the Alternative Rock winning formula from his single “Twale” and delivers nothing less on this track.  I love it and would definitely recommend this to my fans.
