PICTURES: Chikancy Takes Comedy to the Prison on his Birthday [@BishopChikancy]
Young and talented Comedian takes comedy to a whole different level when he hosted a comedy show for prisoners at the Oko prison in Benin City, to mark his birthday on December 4th. Chikancy who is known for his rib cracking jokes and innovations decided to do a show for those in the prison as a way to give and impact his society.
Bishop Chikancy, who is the host of “Laughing Ovation”, a series of concerts which showcases 100% gospel content in comedy, music, drama and dance concert all over Nigeria and beyond decided that in this year’s birthday, he was going to remember those in the prison and share it with them. He organized a full concert filled with plenty gospel artists who ministered to the inmates. In his usual funny disposition, he made jokes that made the inmates laugh so much and they were happy. These were people who have not laughed in a longtime due to their immediate predicament. He brought smiles and laughter to their faces. We had a lot of the prisoners & officials in attendance, we also ministered the word of God to them & gave altar call..”
He later donated food items, toiletries, bottle water, bags of rice, beans and many other items to the prison authorities for the inmates of the prison
