Here’s another evergreen song from St. Greg
The just released single “I Belong To You” by St. Greg is already recording hundreds of testimonies in a matter of few days, coming from people who have listened to the song. The distribution company, RDN who plays a vital role in circulation of the song had initiated a campaign tagged #11MillionTestimonies which encourages people to listen deeply to the song & SING OUT LOUD along with the song & experience a great move of the Holy Spirit.
To them, this song came for such a time as this for a great impact on millions of souls around the world, everyone who could listen: whether an established Christian or someone just giving his life to Christ.
According to one of the St. Greg Team members “You can’t listen to that song, soak yourself into it & sing out loud along with the song & not experience the touch of the Lord. This is an assurance“
I Belong To You is a great opportunity for people in churches, homes, streets, everywhere, to dedicate & rededicate their lives to Christ & literally notice a remarkable advancement in their spiritual lives, financial lives & total liberty. It’s a confession session that catapults one to a higher life of glory!
St. Greg started singing at 8years of age, leading his local church choir to become 1st runner of National Choir Competition, In his secondary school days, St. Greg with his three (3) elder brothers formed a musical group, the renowned NEW WAVES (dready boys), and in 1991 released their debut album titled “Yardstick“. The New Waves were launched into the Music hall of fame in Nigeria & beyond, with sales of over two (2) million copies. Being the Lead Singer of the group, St. Greg, who was then known as Greg Thompson became a face that everybody looked out for.
Shortly after the release, the Dready Boys suffered some personal set backs. There after, the recording company, Average Records, became so insensitive and left them with little or nothing to show for their success. So after three (3) successive albums with the company, both parties parted ways and some went back to school while others went into business.
The group became “born again” & in the year 2004, St. Greg graduated from the University of Ilorin as the best Linguistic student that year.
In 2006, St. Greg recorded & shot the visuals of an 8-track gospel album “Psalm 23” which wasn’t released. In 2008, he started recording this gospel album “Virtues” with renowned Producer/Gospel Rock Singer, Iyke Onka, which was finally released in the month of June 2013. And in a short period after the release, the album is trending in the market, all to the glory of God & many lives are being changed!
