There is a peculiarity in Fada Sheyin‘s sound and as he follows up on the body of work that makes up the “It is Possible” album, it becomes more noticeable.
“Mighty God”, a contemporary mid-tempo praise song spiced with a superficial Alternate Rock feel. It is rich in eulogies to the Supreme One and carries beautiful ad-lib – including the background vocal – that strikes a cord on one’s emotion.
“Jolly” is an uptempo Afropop vibe sung in vernacular. Highly relatable and typical of an Afropop tune, the baseline drives the groove. What makes it more beautiful is the message conveyed by such a tune that is bound to put pep in one’s step.
Fada Sheyin is one of Abuja’s finest who has risen to prominence in recent times. With the release of the album “It is Possible”, which included the hit title track featuring Samsong that was complemented with a beautiful video shot in Lagos by Unlimited LA. He also released “Yabo” featuring Solomon Lange.
He hosted the city of Abuja last year April at the first edition of Abuja Praise Trybe concert that also featured other Gospel music artistes such as Steve Crown, Steve Willis, Samsong and many more. Fada Sheyin has hinted of a second edition that will follow on the heels of this release.
“Mighty God” was produced by Niyi P, while “Jolly” was produced by Danny Joe.
