Mixed Reaction follow Korede Bello’s Church Performance [@koredebello]

Truth is no one should be surprised that Korede Bello was invited to perform in church. Its been speculated that Korede Bello may just be Maven’s first attempt to enter the gospel industry… lol, nothing is impossible right after all Chocolate City gave us Nosa who is doing pretty great, Kennis Music signed gospel acts and lots other mainstream secular Labels. It does come with quite a price as people react differently to the news.

On Sunday April 5, 2015, Korede Bello was a guest minister at HICC (Harvesters International Christain Centre) in Lagos where he performed his smash hit single, ‘Godwin’. His performance in church didn’t quite go down well with a gospel music act, Tunde Praise however, who feels Korede Bello is a secular act and should have no business performing on a sacred altar.

According to Tunde Praise, also a TV/Radio host, worship leader and MD of Bespoke entertainment: ‘Every one should abide by his own calling. Korede has a calling but not to the altar.’…

To defend himself, Korede Bello took to Instagram to ask if he’s not allowed to give testimony in church anymore. See his post below……
