Kirk Franklin performs “Love Theory” with Jonathan McReynolds, Erica Campbell and Kelly Price live at the BET Awards
Kirk Franklin brought the crowd to a full church service at the 2019 BET Awards on Sunday night (June 23), With a stellar gospel performance in the final act of the ceremony.
The gospel living legend and host of BET’s gospel competition “Sunday Best” brought out a full gospel choir. Also the judges from the show, Erica Campbell, Kelly Price and Jonathan McReynolds, to lend their voices to a beautiful chorus from the choir.
Kirk scored two nominations in the Gospel/Inspiration category at the Awards this year, one for “Love Theory” and another for his collaboration with Tori Kelly, “Never Alone” (which took home an award for best gospel performance/song at the 2019 Grammy Awards).
Kirk released an album this year and with him being on the number 1 spot of the Hot Gospel chart category on the Billboard Top 100 chart, be sure that the performance is a must watch.
