Looking back into last year 2020, there’s well only a handful of music albums that was released because of the world at the time. It was a trying time and we made it by grace, so also were these albums that we mention today in our list of Best Gospel Albums of 2020.

Datruth + Limoblaze – Bridges

This joint album titled “Bridges” sits on the top of our list for its creativity and diversity. Released late in November 2020, International rapper DaTruth reconnects with Nigerian Afrogospel sensation Limoblaze to deliver a well cooked meal. The album features Travis Greene and other notable gospel names.

Mercy Chinwo – Satisfied

Mercy Chinwo dropped her widely anticipated Sophomore album in July 2020. As expected it came through with huge media buzz and anticipation. The album contains some of her hit singles released few months earlier but deliver new sounds and of course worship songs for the community. Not a lot of collaborations in this collection, but it makes a superb listen and alway Mercy Chinwo songs are evergreen.

Protek – Counter Culture

Nigerian rapper Protek seeks to break the norm with his new body of work which was released in May 2020. He pulls in a long list of collaborations and talents in this 35minute album. The album features Limoblaze, Eli-J, MI Abaga, Rooftop Mcs, Vector the Viper, and other young gifted artists.
