Ijeoma Monyei also known as IJAY which actually means Ijeoma just accomplishing yearning .
The Lagos State based gospel singer hails from Delta State and has nurtured her strong passion for music from her young age. She grew up through the years, singing in choirs and developing her music gifts.
She says “One day the spirit of God asked me ‘what will you do with all these songs? No response ….In my heart I’ll just be ok singing it to him personally. Then he said to me ‘get to work’.
She steps forth early in 2021 with the release of her single “Invincible God”, a song inspired by God, which marks a new step for the talented music minister.
“My purpose of singing is to put words on the lips of God’s people to declare his praise, show forth his mighty wonders and worship his majesty. Just doing the work of him that sent me while it is day.
I will Constantly work at bringing forward new words with melodies with which to extol our great God.”
