F.L.O.G.I.C Drops New Single “Best Man (When I Serve God)”

U.S Based Group F.L.O.G.I.C Drops Upbeat Worship Hip-Hop Song “Best Man (When I Serve God)”

On July 31, 2021, Christian hip-hop’s newcomers, F. L. O. G. I. C (Favored Ladies of God in Christ), released their head-banging follow-up single to “My God 4x”, “Best Man (When I Serve God)”. The song embodies the dynamic sister duo’s unique sound that is neither old school nor new school but simply F. L. O. G. I. C, in a style that they describe as “worship hip-hop.” “Best Man” reverences God while also making you want to get up and dance. When asked about what they want people to get out of the song, the ladies said, “We want people to get the word in while on the treadmill, on their way to work, or at a party. This song is universal.” No matter the denomination, if you love God and you love music then you’ll love “Best Man”!

Sisters Breanna and Taylour Dickerson, born and raised on Long Island, New York, make up the burgeoning duo. Coming from a Pentecostal C.O.G.I.C church background, F.L.O.G.I.C feels the need to make music that will reverence God. They say, “After our previous work under a different name neglected to glorify God, despite being clean and positive, we decided not to just make clean hip-hop music but rather make Christian hip-hop music that gives God the glory and truly represents who we are as C.O.G.I.C women.” “Best Man (When I Serve God)” is the upbeat worship hip-hop song that follows their well-received debut single “My God 4x”. F.L.O.G.I.C did a debut live performance of the song in July at the musical concert for the 33rd Eastern New York Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Holy Convocation, the only Christian hip-hop artist to perform.

In 2019, Breanna and Taylour were hand-picked for a private audition for America’s Got Talent season 14 which then led them to the celebrity judge round, receiving four yeses from Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough, Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell. With a background in musical theatre, both sisters are electrifying on stage. Before the pandemic, the ladies performed at the infamous Sounds of Brazil in NYC, Revolution Bar and Music Hall, and the Paramount Theater to name a few. With fierce bible-based lyrics and infamously catchy hooks, F. L. O. G.I.C continues to prove why they are the next Christian artists to look out for!
